Alex Buckland Photography is thrilled to share the highlights and accomplishments celebrated throughout 2024, a record-breaking year filled with unforgettable moments and remarkable weddings across the UK.
In 2024, Alex Buckland captured an impressive 200,000 photos, delivering 35,000 stunning images to couples celebrating their love. The team traveled 5,000 miles across various locations, including beautiful venues in Sussex, Kent, Surrey, Hampshire, Somerset, and beyond, documenting 32 weddings, four pre-wedding shoots, and three workshops.
This year was significant not only for the number of weddings but also for Alex's pivotal transition. He officially stepped away from a 23-year military career to embrace his passion for photography fully. His commitment to capturing genuine emotions and heartfelt connections at weddings has received notable accolades, including his first Fearless Photographers Award, alongside two WPJA Awards and seven Flashmasters Awards.
“2024 has been an incredible journey filled with laughter and tears at weddings ranging from intimate first looks to joyful receptions,” said Alex Buckland. “Each couple left a unique impression on me, and it has been a privilege to document such significant milestones of their lives.”
The year also involved a personal move for Alex and his family from Wiltshire to the scenic coastal town of Eastbourne in East Sussex, a change that has brought fresh inspiration and joy to his photography.
A heartfelt thank you to the couples who allowed Alex to share in their love stories, his supportive wife Catherine, his children Aiden and Caitlin, and the fantastic second shooters who made these moments possible.
